Which spren bonds each Knights Radiant order?
Windrunners bond honorspren, Skybreakers bond highspren, Dustbringers bond ashspren, Edgedancers bond cultivationspren, Truthwatchers bond mistspren, Lightweavers bond Cryptics (also called liespren), Elsecallers bond inkspren, Willshapers bond Reachers (also called lightspren), and Stonewards bond peakspren. Bondsmiths are the exception: there are only three Bondsmith spren in existence, the Stormfather, the Nightwatcher and the Sibling.
How does the Spren Match game work?
Ten spren appear in the left column and ten orders in the right column, both shuffled on every play. You tap a spren, then tap the order you think bonds it. A correct pair locks in with that order's colour. A wrong tap does nothing except add to your miss count, so the board is winnable but your score is not. After all ten bonds you get a rank from Darkeyed Recruit to Bondsmith, plus the full reference table with the two Surges every order gets.
Why do Bondsmiths only have three spren?
Because their spren are not a species. The other nine orders bond a type of spren with many individuals, so an order can in principle have hundreds of Radiants. Bondsmiths bond one of three unique entities tied to the Shards of Honor and Cultivation: the Stormfather, the Nightwatcher and the Sibling. That caps the order at three members at any one time, which is why Bondsmiths are the rarest Radiants on Roshar.
Does this game spoil the Stormlight Archive?
Barely. Every pairing in the game is reference material rather than plot, and most of it appears in the in-world charts printed in the books themselves. The notes in the final table mention which character bonds which spren, including Syl, Pattern, Wyndle and Ivory, so a reader who has not started The Way of Kings may prefer to play after book one.
